Joy Through The Stamp:
1. Sends Christ's joy through letters, emails, courses and newsletters to incarcerated people across America. The Bible is our source of knowledge and doctrine. Our aim is to glorify God in all interactions with other Christians on the inside.
2. Seeks to honor the dignity of each inmate and to support their place as a Kingdom-member in God's family through the blood of Christ.
3. Will not financially contribute to an inmate. (Cash or commissary credits)
4. Will send a Bible, self-addressed stamped envelopes (when allowed) and limited Christian resources (articles and books) if the need arises. We are limited financially in what we can send.
5. Will support the US Bureau of Prisons, honoring their policies and laws for safety and conduct.
6. Will not be a go-between between other prisoners.
7. Will not encourage any romantic/unhealthy relationships with/between inmates.
8. Wishes to encourage prison Chaplains whenever they can.
9. Understands that we are a para-church ministry and not seeking to replace standard church worship.
10. Have the right to stop correspondence with an inmate if our policies are being compromised.
11. We are not authorized to house or to be a half-way establishment for any inmates (including holding any inmate possessions).
12. Promises to pray weekly for each inmate, taking their needs to the throne of God with thanksgiving.
13. Is not a tax-exempt organization at this time.
