​Prayer for Prisoners 
Lord, we commend to You all incarcerated people and their families.  We are commanded by you to lift up those in prison.
​ We lift up all those suffering and languishing behind bars. Convert their hearts, bring them to true repentance, and help them serve their time with patience. Make their time in prison a time of real spiritual growth, one that will bear good fruit. Draw them closer to You, let them feel Your mighty love, show them Your goodness and kindness, so that they may praise Your mercy and live for Your glory.
Bless their families while they are away, help them find community support and assistance. 

​ Strengthen the victims and their families of these crimes --- we live in a broken world of sin.  May they see Your Gospel light in the worst of circumstances. 

Inspire us to help inmates whenever and however we can, by our prayers, by our talents, and by our almsgiving.  Bless each letter that is sent to them; protect their mail and help it to uplift and encourage them. Bless the Joy Through The Stamp Ministry.  We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
